Richgrove Memorial Building will be having a Cultural Music workshop in our community, led by Xochitl Morales, a distinguished Harvard graduate and former mariachi. The first session will be hosted at the Richgrove Memorial Building on April 17th at 6 PM, offered at no expense to our community members.
This grant-funded workshop is designed to honor our community's agricultural roots through tailored, age-appropriate music lessons, emphasizing historic social & labor movements of our pueblitos and rancheras—a genre deeply connected with our farm-working heritage. This is a valuable opportunity to deepen our students' understanding of their culture and strengthen community ties.
Please share this information with students and encourage their participation. It'll be for ages 7+.
